JUVY JAKES
Michael Allen Jacob, professionally known as Juvy Jakes, is a multilingual Singer/Rapper who hails from the south-eastern part of Nigeria. He was born in Nigeria but moved with his mom to Cotonou, Benin Republic in 2006 and there he adopted French as a new language as well as the indigenous language of Benin Republic. His music expression began in church as of 2017 and gradually progressed into its professional form and the birth of a career.
His unique fusion of English, French, and indigenous languages from Nigeria and Benin Republic makes his music appeal to a wider spectra of people who are able to culturally identify with it. His lyrical depth and melodies are also one to reckon with. Whilst entertaining and inspiring, Juvy’s music prioritizes telling real life stories as a core value for his listeners to have a deeper sense of connection. He is currently signed to Crystalcity Records and working on his debut project.
